David's entrepreneurial journey began at the tender age of six, with a candy stand on a Detroit corner. Through years of grit and hustle, he honed his business acumen, from newspaper deliveries to lawn mowing and eventually co-founding a roofing company with a high school teammate (and college roommate!). This venture not only paid for his education but also instilled critical business skills.
After selling his share, David joined Osman, Ltd., and Marlin Maintenance. Rising through the ranks over nine years, he ultimately became the Director of Operations and President/Owner of Marlin Maintenance, a non-union restoration company. His hard work and dedication helped transform it into one of Forbes 5000's fastest-growing businesses in the U.S., serving iconic NYC landmarks like the Chrysler Building and working with industry giants like Tishman Speyer and CBRE.
In 2014, David co-founded TQ3 Technical Services, becoming its President. This turnkey service company grew to become the nation's largest Polyurea installer in the roofing and waterproofing industry. After explosive growth, they sold TQ3 NA & TQ3 Technical Services to Henry Co. in 2017.
There, David served as Director of Technical Services, strategically leading, budgeting, and forecasting the division nationwide. He also became the President Elect of the Polyurea Development Association, sharing his expertise at industry conferences. David holds numerous certifications, demonstrating his deep knowledge and commitment to the field.
Never one to settle, David and partner Steve Soule acquired ProSet Inc. in 2021. Steve, CEO of CMR Construction and Roofing (USA's 9th largest contractor), brings valuable industry experience. ProSet manufactures high-performance coatings and roofing products, specializing in niche markets often overlooked by larger players. This service-focused approach allows ProSet to offer solutions, not just products.
